Nikon D 90 Digital Camera With 18-105mm Lens
The brand new Nikon D 90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens is what every photographer wants, and here is why.
High resolution camera with new CMOS sensor built in and a few innovations makes it a must buy. But what clearly separates the Nikon D 90 Digital Camera from all other cameras is the first DSLR movie mode never before seen on a camera.
A Nikon D 90 has the ability to record short video clips. It can’t compete with a digital video camera and it is not intended to compete with one, it is just a big bonus.
Aside from that Nikon D 90 Digital Camera has 12.9 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor with 12.3 effective sensors, which is incredible, making it easy for an amateur to make a professional photo with just one movement of his finger.
It has a 3.0-inch 920,000 pixel TFT-LCD monitor which is the same as D300 with live view option and face detect feature. It allows you 4.5 frames per second continuous shooting, it also has Expeed image processing engine with 3d tracking and improved user interface which makes it easy even for a kid to operate a Nikon D 90 Digital Camera.
So with all that and dust removal system, movie mode and picture control presets Nikon D 90 makes every other camera look bad. This camera is very easy to use; it has a good layout of the function buttons making it easy to operate the camera.
The menu functions are as easy as button functions, and with all the presets and noise reduction it makes the use of Photoshop obsolete. Why use Photoshop when Nikon D90 Camera gives you an already perfect picture.
With the easy menu and great button layout which is practically the same as with every Nikon Camera, high resolution mode and the new video option this camera brings a lot of promises. What Nikon D90 Digital Camera offers and for what price you won’t find in any other digital camera out there.

Master Digital Infrared Photography With Your Nikon Digital SLR
The Nikon D70 SLR is ideally suited to Digital Infrared Photography mainly due to the power of its custom settings. I’m going to take a few moments to show you what camera settings I use for my digital infrared photos and hopefully help you get the best results from your Nikon digital SLR.
First thing – get a tripod
Next, take some time to plan your digital infrared photograph.
Image Type
For digital infrared photography I really prefer to shoot in RAW mode.
ISO
Good results can be achieved by increasing the ISO setting, but I’ve had the best results when I leave it at 200. I also do a fair amount of post processing in Photo shop , so noise is a problem when working at higher magnifications. Remember, unlike infrared film, where the graininess is part of the look and feel of the image, digital infrared “grain” or noise really degrades your image.
White Balance
In my experience, setting a custom white balance is a key to GOOD Digital Infrared Photography with the Nikon d70. Since foliage reflects IR light, making it the brightest, whitest part of your photo, you’ll need to “calibrate” your D70 to let it know that visible light green is equal to infrared white.
There are a couple of ways to do this:
NUMBER 1: The simplest white balance method using the D70 is to open your menu, use the control button to flip down to the white balance setting, and change it to fluorescent +3. Since for infrared photography you’ll be most likely shooting in bright sunlight with a “red” filter, adding some false color correction in the camera, seems to give your final IR images more “punch.”
NUMBER 2: Another way to adjust white balance for digital infrared photography with the Nikon D70 is to take a photo of green grass at midday in full sun. Now, in your menu, you’ll set the white balance from this photo. So, go to your menu, select white balance, >preset> use photo>select image> use your control dial to navigate to the image of the grass (hopefully it is the only one on your card to make it easy). Now you’re ready to shoot infrared!

How to Review Nikon Digital Cameras
You want a digi cam for yourself and have decided to choose one from among the wide variety of Nikon digital cameras. As each person’s needs of a digi cam is different from another, before buying a cam you should first think about your requirements. Such as whether you want an inexpensive, non professional digi cam or you want to go for an advanced version of semi professional point and shoot cameras.
There are many different model options with Nikon digital cameras that are suitable for different purposes. Each model of the equipment is different from the other in terms of features and special functions.
Since there is a huge demand for such cams, the manufacturing companies try to attract the buyers by offering some exclusive features or promotional discounts.
Tips On Nikon Digital camera Review
Here are some such important factors that must be considered while reviewing Nikon digital cameras:
- Megapixels: Depending upon your requirements of digital photography, this factor has to be definitely reviewed. If you are going to use your cam for professional photography, then you must have a digi cam with 6 or more megapixels.
- Memory: Higher the memory of the camera, the greater number of images it can store.
- Battery: If you buy a cam with many hi-fi features, it would drain your batteries significantly and that would mean frequently replacing or charging the batteries.
Apart from the above mentioned factors, budget and user friendliness are significantly important issues too. Whichever camera you choose, it should come at a reasonable price and provide easy usage.
If you employ the above factors to review Nikon digital cameras, it would make your job of selecting the right model a lot easier.
